Livin’ On Popsicles {Free Summer SVG}

One of the very first signs of warmer weather for me and my kids is when they can sit outside and enjoy their first popsicle. The rest of the summer is is filled with multiple daily requests of “Mom, can I have a popsicle?” So when I was coming up with an idea for this month’s free SVG file, my mind immediately went to the theme of popsicles.

If your kids are anything like mine, they practically live on popsicles all summer long. And that is how the “livin’ on popsicles” summer SVG file was born. (I’m sure you were dying to know *wink*) Below are just a few ways I’ve thought of that you can use the free SVG file I’ve created:

• t-shirts
• scrapbook layout
• popsicle koozies
• cards
• summer decor

To change things up a bit, I decided to go back to my scrapbooking roots and create a 2 page spread using my new “livin’ on popsicles” design. My youngest daughter absolutely devours popsicles of all kinds and I thought these pictures just fit the theme of the design so perfectly that I had to use them.

While I used cardstock for each element, you could definitely use vinyl or any of your other favorite scrapbooking materials to personalize your page. Below are some of the elements I used to create these pages:

• Amy Tangerine card stock from American Crafts
• DCVW Brights cardstock stack
• Glue Dots
• Paper trimmer
• Scrapbooking marker in black
• Cutting mat

And of course I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut everything out! Resizing all the elements to fit the page was so easy. You can see an example of what the file looks like on a t-shirt below. (Check out my tutorial for step by step instructions on making your own t-shirt with HTV.)

How to get the FREE Livin’ on Popsicles Summer SVG

You can download the FREE “Livin’ On Popsicles” summer SVG file by entering your name and email below. You will then receive the file in a separate email which you can then download onto your computer or directly into your cutting machine software.

*NOTE* There are two images included with the SVG file. One has the popsicle sticks attached to the popsicle and the other has them disconnected from the popsicle. You will also see that the text is a little thicker on one of the images. If you want to be able to keep both files, I recommend copying and pasting one of the files onto a separate page in your cutting machine software page and saving it that way. (You can also mix and match the elements in each file by selecting the file and then ungrouping them.)
