We take a lot of road trips. Some are shorter, around 3 hours. Others are quite a bit longer, like our 7-day Oregon Coast trip. To help break up the movies and try to minimize the fighting, I’ve come up with a variety of screen-free activities and games. We rotate through them so it’s not always the same and the kids don’t get tired of them. And that’s how this road trip BINGO game came to be.

Having 4 kids, I made a total of 6 road trip BINGO cards so that they could more easily swap them around. This set of road trip BINGO cards actually worked great for my three older kids and provided them a bit of a challenge. And it kept them entertained for a good 30 minutes, which I think is saying something.

We did use a few of the ideas I share in my post about different ways to play BINGO to keep the fun going a little longer. Definitely check it out if you are tired of the typical 5 in a row version!

Best Tips for Making Your Printables Last Longer

One of my favorite craft “tools” is my personal laminator. It’s perfect for printables that I want to be able to reuse, which saves me money! Especially for printables that are done in color, such as BINGO cards.

On top of laminating, I like to use cardstock to give extra strength and durability to my printable projects. I’ve included links below to the laminator, laminating sheets and cardstock I use:

On top of the materials suggested for making your printables last longer, I also recommend grabbing some washable dry erase markers and small white board erasers. I don’t know about you, but I like to avoid permanent stains on my kids clothes. That’s why the washable dry erase markers are great, plus they have fun colors and aren’t as stinky.
