What is a GetOut Membership?

The short answer: an amazing way to experience a variety of entertainment and attractions in your area for a discounted price (good for 1 year from date of purchase)!

The long answer: GetOutPass and PogoPass, the two leading names in family entertainment and attraction access have joined forces to become one brand: GetOut. Through this merge, GetOut is able to provide families with access to more than 2000 attractions across 33 areas in the U.S.! Some passes cover a full state, such as GetOut Utah, while others cover a specific area, such as GetOut Orlando/Tampa/Jacksonville.

What do I get when I purchase a GetOut membership?

Each membership comes with its own unique group of attractions that are specific to that area. When you purchase a membership, you get access to everything listed. The one exception is that some memberships have the option to upgrade, which allows you access to an additional attraction at a deep discount.

For example, GetOut Utah and GetOut Idaho both have an upgrade option to add a 1-day Lagoon ticket to their membership prior to checkout. The amount paid to upgrade the GetOut membership is less expensive than what it would cost if you were to pay for a single-day pass through Lagoon’s website or other promotion.

How do I find out what entertainment and attractions are available for each membership?

Visit the GetOut website. On the main page, you can click “find near me” or “all locations” at the top of the page. From here, you can choose your state/area from the drop down menu. Then a list of included admissions will be shown to you.

What type of entertainment and attractions are typically included in the GetOut membership?

Each membership varies by state/area, but here are a few of the admission types you can expect to see:

• Indoor play areas (ie. playgrounds, bowling, mini golf, laser tag)
• Comedy clubs
• Museums
• Hands-on workshops (ie. pottery, jewelry making)
• Amusement parks

How many times can I use my GetOut membership for each attraction?

The number of times you can use your GetOut membership to access a venue varies. Some attractions are one time use for the year. Others allow you to visit once a quarter. To find out how many times you can visit any one place with your membership, check out the list of entertainment and attractions. You will see a visit number underneath the venue. For example, it might show “1 visit/year” or “1 visit/quarter”.

How do I purchase a GetOut membership?

Go to the GetOut website. Select the state/area you want to buy a membership for. If that state/area has an upgrade option, you will see a toggle to keep the upgrade or not. The current price will be shown so you can see the difference between them. Choose the number of memberships you want to purchase, then continue to the checkout page.

After you have completed your GetOut membership purchase, you will be prompted to set up an account.

How can I get a discount on my GetOut membership(s)?

GetOut offers different promotions throughout the year so the price can change. However, you will always get the absolute best price when you use my affiliate code: SUNSHINE. Does everyone in my family need a membership?

All children ages 2 and up should have a membership. The reason for this is because some attractions may charge all children upon admission, regardless of age. You should see specific attraction websites for details, especially if you are considering an upgraded membership.

Can I purchase a GetOut membership anytime?

Yes, you can buy your GetOut membership at any time. There are no limitations as to when a membership can be purchased, however, there are various promotions run throughout the year that affect the purchase price. Can I give a GetOut membership as a gift?

Yes! When you buy a GetOut membership as a gift, you will receive an email with a gift certificate and the gift codes for each membership purchased. The membership will activate when the recipient redeems the gift codes and creates their account.

Do memberships automatically renew?

Yes, memberships automatically renew. If you do not want this to happen, you can turn off the auto-renewal feature in your account settings. Alternatively, you can contact GetOut customer support and have them make the change for you.

What if I already have a GetOutPass or PogoPass?

You don’t need to do anything! Your membership and account information will stay the same. All you need to do is make sure you have the new app downloaded so you can easily access your membership and know what entertainment and attractions are currently available to you.

Do I need to live in the state or area I want to purchase a GetOut membership for?

No, you can buy GetOut memberships for any of the available states/areas shown on the website.

Am I able to do an add-on to a current membership if I am visiting a different area that also has a membership?

This option is not currently available. However if it’s something you’d like to see, send your suggestion to GetOut through their Contact Us page.

My Personal Experience with GetOut

My family and I have had memberships with GetOutPass (now GetOut Utah) for 4 years. We have loved using our passes to try new things and visit places we already enjoy.
