One of my favorite things to do at the end of the year when it comes to my blog is find out what the top 10 most viewed posts are that were published that year!

Find out what the top 10 most popular posts were on Sunshine and Munchkins in 2018!

Sometimes I can predict what they’ll be and other times, it’s a total surprise.  But one thing I know is that I am so, so grateful to you, my readers.  I truly enjoy blogging and knowing that it’s beneficial in some way to you, whether it’s through a tutorial or a new insight, it makes it even more worth it to me.  So thank you for a wonderful year and I’m excited for 2019 and what’s to come!

10. My Hospital Bag Packing List (plus Free Printable)

I am a total list maker, so when I was preparing my hospital bag for baby #3, I decided to just type it up and turn it into a printable for you guys!  It’s a pretty good list if you ask me and it may even have some items you haven’t though of, plus there’s room to add in anything extra you want to remember to take with you.

9. How To Make Paper Beads

Rewind back to your elementary years when you made paper beads out of magazines or colored paper!  I made these with my kids and they loved it, plus it’s a great use for all the scrapbook paper I have!

8. Memories Shadow Box Anniversary Gift

My husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary last May and I wanted to make him something special.  When I found these shadow boxes with wooden hearts inside, an idea was born.  This memories shadow box would make such a cute gift for an anniversary or wedding!

7. Cinnamon Roll Bites for Two

I didn’t post a ton of recipes on my blog in 2018 so I think it says something about how yummy this one is considering it made the top 10 list!  This recipe of cinnamon roll bites makes just enough for two people (or a double serving for you).

6. Dollar Tree Christmas Snow Globe Ornament

These cute little snow globe ornaments are made using supplies from the Dollar Tree.  They were quick and easy to put together and would make great gifts for neighbors, teachers, friends, coworkers, or even as ornaments for your own Christmas tree.  Plus, they are made of plastic so they won’t break if shaken by your kids.  *wink*  Save this post for when you need to make inexpensive and unique gifts this next Christmas!

5. Staying Connected With Your Spouse After Having Kids

My husband and I welcomed a sweet baby girl (and third child) into our family at the beginning of last year so we knew that staying connected with each other was about to get a little trickier.  This post shares a little bit about why date nights are important and how to implement them into your lives in a new way.

4. Easy Blooming Envelope and Card

This is one of my favorite crafts I’ve done!  If you have a personal cutting machine (like a Silhouette or Cricut), you’ll definitely want to check out how to make these cute blooming envelopes and cards.  I have a ton of different patterns and colors of scrapbook paper which means I can make a card for pretty much any occasion.

3. DIY Dollar Store Jeweled Vases

Yep, I’ve got another dollar store craft on the list!  I am all about finding great craft supplies from the dollar store and these jeweled vases took me about 5 minutes to make.

2. Easy Contact Paper Leaf Suncatchers

If you’re like me, you want to do activities with your kids to celebrate different seasons and holidays.  This contact paper craft was seriously so easy!  My kids loved making suncatchers to hang on our back door, windows and next to the baby’s crib.  Keep an eye out for more fun contact paper kid crafts coming up this year!

1. 5 Fun (and Free) Disney Printables

I had so much fun putting this post together!  I mean, it’s a Disney one so what’s not to love?  *wink*  I made 5 cute and simple printables of Disney quotes.  The thing I liked about them is that they aren’t ones that are used or seen all the time.  I created them to be printed out as a 4×6 photo or card.  I’m thinking I might put together a follow up post with 5 more Disney printables.  What do you think I should put on them?

Seriously, thank you so much for your support!  I hope you found a post or two that you didn’t see during the year that caught your eye.  Do you have a favorite post from this last year?

Thank you Brittainy! I appreciate you stopping by and looking around. 🙂

  1. It’s amazing to see what are the most popular posts of the year, I love to do it too and it’s crazy to see that maybe a post that you weren’t super excited about made it to the top 10

I agree! Some of the ones I think will be most popular aren’t always in the top 10.

  2. These are AWESOME! Pinning that cinnamon bite recipe asap. Looking forward to your posts in 2019!

Thank you Hannah! The cinnamon bites are SO good! Let me know what you think. 🙂

  3. Not surprising that Cinnamon bites would be so popular! I’ll be making them soon. They pair nicely with the Anniversary shadow box. Make some sweet stuff to share with your sweetie!

That would be a great idea to pair the shadow box and the cinnamon bites together! I didn’t even think about that, haha.
