I took my kids to see the Disney On Ice: Find Your Hero show at the Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City and we had a blast! We have been to other Disney On Ice shows in the past and this one was just as good. Overall, the show lasted a little over 2 hours (including a 15 minute intermission). It was full of great music, beautiful costumes and scenery, laughter and the magic of Disney.

What characters will you see in the Find Your Hero show?

  • The Little Mermaid: Ariel, Flounder, Sebastian, Eric, Ursula and Ariel’s sisters
  • Beauty and the Beast: Belle, Beast, Gaston, LeFou, Lumiere, Cogsworth, Mrs. Pots, Chip, townspeople
  • Moana: Moana, Maui, sea creatures
  • Tangled: Rapunzel, Flynn/Eugene, Mother Gothel, Pub Thugs, Maximus
  • Frozen: Anna, Elsa, Christoff, Sven, Olaf, Prince Hans, townspeople

What makes this show different from other Disney On Ice shows?

While many of the Disney On Ice shows feature well-known characters, I really enjoyed seeing some lesser shown scenes and songs. For example, in the Beauty and Beast portion, they sang “The Mob Song” (where Gaston is leading the village to the castle). And in Tangled, they did a version of “When Will My Life Begin?’ I also loved the musical arrangements in the show because they were different from the original songs.

I asked my kids what their favorite part of the show was and these are their responses:

10 year old (girl): The special effects (fireworks, scene changes, etc)

8 year old (boy): The music

4 year old (girl): Moana and Maui

*PRO TIP* Bring your own glow sticks! Your kids will have fun wearing them and waving them along to the music.
