One Pot Chicken Noodle Pasta

Ready in 30 minutes, this is a perfect dish for busy weeknights. Also makes great leftovers!

Ingredients

  • 1 16-oz bag of noodles bowtie, spiral, penne
  • 1 10.5-oz can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 10.5-oz can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 c. diced chicken (like rotisserie) can also use 12.5-oz can canned chicken
  • ¾-1 c. milk
  • 3 c. shredded cheese (cheddar or colby jack)
  • 1 tsp ground pepper
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • salt, to taste

Instructions

  • In a large pot, fill the pot with water and add the pasta. Cook the noodles according to the instructions.  Drain and rinse the noodles in a strainer. Do not return the noodles to the pot yet.
  • In the same pot you used for the noodles, add the cream of chicken, cream of mushroom and 1 can of milk. Turn the heat to a medium low and stir until smooth.
  • Add in the cheese 1 cup at a time and stirring until combined before adding the next cup. Add the garlic powder, onion powder and ground pepper and mix well.
  • Once everything is heated through, add the chicken and stir.  Then add the noodles back into the pot and stir until everything is mixed together. If you find that it's too thick, add some milk.
  • Serve warm.
