If you are like me, you have a recipe box full of handwritten recipes, a stack of recipes printed out from the internet and a variety of recipe books. Odds are, you have your favorite recipes that you pull out repeatedly and they might be looking a little…loved.
Earlier this year, I was introduced to a company called Peachie, whose goal is to help you get your recipes printed out and organized. In a world where we are encouraged to go digital, I was intrigued by their mission to preserve printed recipes that you can actually hold in your hand. Not only that, but they use digital technology to help people convert their recipes quickly and accurately.
After receiving recipes printed out on their special waterproof paper, I have been impressed with the quality, durability and beauty of these printed recipes. And now, I want to share how you can get started converting your own recipes!
Read the FAQs below for more details and information about getting started with Peachie.
What is a Peachie Print?
They are YOUR recipes (and others) printed on washable, waterproof paper!
I have a whole binder of recipes already printed out. Why would I want to reprint them with Peachie?
Have you ever spilled on your recipe while using it? Even if it is in a page protector, water and other spills can still get onto the paper. This leaves you with a stained, maybe blotted out recipe that you end up having to reprint.
Or what about the handwritten recipes that have been handed down from family or friends? We love and cherish them and getting food on them can feel devastating. Keep the original recipe card protected and print out a copy of the recipe as a Peachie Print!
Here are the highlights:
- Printed on 8.5×11 washable paper
- Full color and full bleed image
- Hole punched and ready to add to your binder
- Washable and tear proof
- A uniform format for ALL your recipes
Is the paper actually waterproof?
Yes! One of the things that makes Peachie unique is the special waterproof paper they print all the recipes on. You can see the waterproof paper in action on this Instagram post.
How much does it cost to use Peachie?
It is absolutely free to sign up for Peachie and start converting your recipes! If you decide to print your recipes out, you will be charged per recipe. Currently the cost is $.99-$1.19/each and you get free shipping when you hit $20.
Peachie also offers additional products, such as binders and tabs. You can see the selection HERE.
How do I get my own recipes printed?
There are 3 easy ways to add your recipes:
- Add a link from a website.
- Add an image or screenshot of your recipe (this can even be handwritten).
- Manually type your recipe.
Once you add a recipe, Peachie will automatically format your recipes and you’ll be able to view them, make edits, add notes and share them digitally, or as a Peachie Print.
Does Peachie have an app?
Yes! You can download the Peachie app right on to your phone and start uploading recipes right away. Currently it is only available in the Apple store, but they are working on an app that is compatible with Android devices.
Do I have to use the app if I’m on my phone?
No. While the app is formatted specifically to use the site on your phone, you aren’t required to download it. If you don’t want to download the app, you can still log into your Peachie account from your phone’s browser.
Can I share my recipes with others?
Yes! When you add a recipe to your Peachie account, you can choose to make it public (default) or make it private. To make it private, click the slider at the top of the recipe page.
You can also share the recipe with someone who doesn’t have a Peachie account by clicking the paper airplane button below the picture of the recipe. A new window will open and you will see a link at the top and some options for sending (email, etc).
Can I print others recipes or just my own?
Signing up for an account allows you to print your recipes AND others recipes. Similar to social media, you can choose to follow other accounts. Or simply print out a single recipe that you like. If you are looking for a specific recipe, there is a search button that you can use to search for recipes by ingredient (ex: raspberry) or you can search for people (ex: Shani).

How can I follow your Peachie profile?
Easiest question yet! After you’ve created your Peachie account, click HERE and it will take you to my page. Then you choose to ‘follow’ my account.
Additionally, you can search for more people to follow in one of two ways:
- Click the 3 bars in the top left and go to the ‘search’ button at the bottom. Then, choose the ‘people’ tab and type in their name.
- From the ‘home’ page, you can scroll through your ‘feed’ to find new recipes, or you can click on the ‘Peachie Pros’ tab to find other recipe creators to follow.
