Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day (or any holiday) doesn’t have be complicated or Pinterest worthy. Sure, we have certain traditions in our family for many holidays, but how big or small we go really just depends on the year. So if you are feeling overwhelmed with leprechaun traps, green milk, tiny footprints on the toilet, or any number of St. Patrick’s Day shenanigans, just know that it’s okay to keep it simple.
With that in mind, I want to share this little shamrock cupcake topper with you. Whether you grab some store bought cupcakes or make your own, adding this topper on will make you and your kids day magical. *wink*
Supplies Needed for the Cupcake Topper
- Green cardstock
- Cardstock in coordinating color (optional)
- Silhouette Cameo
- Cutting mat
- Toothpicks
- Tape
To assemble the cupcake topper, just cut out the shamrock, attach the heart (optional), stick the toothpick to the back of the shamrock and poke it into the top of the cupcake. Voila! Instant magic.
