Halloween is coming up and that means the time for wearing monster themed shirts is upon us! While I don’t think of my kids as monsters (usually), this design was definitely created with a little tongue in cheek. *wink*
One thing I love about this monster SVG file is that it can be used on shirts worn separately or together. And if you have multiple monsters, I mean children, you can make more than one without having to make any changes to the file itself (besides sizing it to fit larger or smaller shirts).

Tips on Resizing SVGs for Different Shirt Sizes
- Make a copy of the design, open a new blank canvas and paste it there. Use the newly pasted design as the file you will manipulate (resize, etc). If you make a mistake, you can easily grab the original file from the first copy of the design you uploaded into your software and start over.
- If you have multiple designs in one file (like with this monster SVG file), follow tip #1 but open multiple new blank canvases. Paste one design in each and manipulate the file from there.
- Always make sure you have the entire design selected before you resize it. Group the elements together if they are not already grouped when you upload them to your design software.
- Use this handy size chart from Cut, Cut, Craft for appropriate design sizes for different shirt sizes. The chart gives recommendations based on a square design, but you can just take the largest dimension of your design and go from there.
- A basic ruler is helpful if you’re having a hard time visualizing how big the design will be on your shirt. Lay the shirt out flat and then use the ruler to give a basic idea of the size of your design. You can even take it a step further and cut out piece of paper with the approximate size and lay it on your shirt.
