Isn’t it funny how we as parents sometimes tell our kids what sports they like, simply because we like them? My husband is a big fan of basketball, so when I was brainstorming ideas for this month’s sports SVG theme, that was the first sport that came to mind. Pair that with the fact that we are having a baby boy this fall and the two ideas came together perfectly.

Whether or not our new little guy comes to love basketball like his older brother, older sister and dad, this free sports SVG file is still pretty darn cute!

Ideas for how to use this file
- I love how this file can be used for boys and girls, simply by changing the colors used.
- You can use it with heat transfer vinyl (HTV) and put it on a t-shirt or a onesie like I did.
- Go fan-crazy and use your favorite team’s colors!
- How fun would it be to use holographic vinyl?
- Another idea would be to use it in your scrapbooking like I showed you with last month’s “livin’ on popsicles” SVG.
While I used my Silhouette Cameo to create and cut this fun design, you can use any type of cutting machine since the file is in an SVG format. Below are some other materials you may find helpful as you create your new project!

You can download the FREE “I’m Told I Like Basketball” sports SVG file by entering your name and email below. You will then receive the file in a separate email which you can then download onto your computer or directly into your cutting machine software.
