As Halloween draws ever closer, I thought it would be fun to put together a small set of (6) BINGO cards. I love how they turned out and that they aren’t scary at all. Each card is set up to print on a regular 8.5×11 piece of paper. I used white cardstock and then laminated the cards so we can reuse them. I bought a personal laminator a couple of years ago and have surprised myself with how often I use it!
You can use these cards in a couple of different ways depending on the age group.
Younger kids (age 5 and under)
- Using the cards on the last page of the file, draw only the picture card and show it.
- Even toddlers can participate because all they have to do is match the picture you draw with what they see on their card.
- Let the kids team up and help each other.
- Combine this activity with any of the other activities I have included in my Preschool Halloween Party on a Budget post!
Older kids (age 6+)
- Using the cards on the last page of the file, draw one letter card and one picture card. Remember to put the cards back in the draw pile since there is only one of each picture and two of each letter. (OR print out multiple copies of the last page.)
- Help the kids understand that they have to have the correct picture in the correct column, otherwise it doesn’t count.
- Play blackout (all spaces covered) after a certain number of BINGOs have been achieved.
