This last weekend, I took my three oldest kids to Disney On Ice: Dream Big at the Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City, UT. While all my kids said they loved the show, my 4 year old had an especially fun time watching all the princesses. Each time a different one would come out, she’d bounce in her seat, point and smile.
Many popular Disney stories were touched on throughout the show, including The Little Mermaid, Moana, Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, Coco, Frozen, Tangled, Cinderella and The Princess and the Frog.
Each new segment was introduced by none other than Mickey and Minnie Mouse with a few appearances by Goofy and Tinker Bell as well.
The special effects are amazing as well. From bubbles to pyrotechnics to giant fire breathing dragons, Disney knows how to put on a show that will have even the adults ooh-ing and aah-ing.
Each time we go see a Disney On Ice performance, I am amazed by the skill and coordination of the ice skaters. At times, there were more than 25 people out on the ice plus props. They all get into character and you can tell they love what they do.
