Like many parents, I like to tease my kids and tell them about all the things we had “back in the old days”. One of the things that make them laugh is when I remind them (in my old lady voice) that “when I was growing up, we had 9 planets”. Do you remember that? In August 2006, Pluto was demoted to a “dwarf planet” which means that our solar system has 8 recognized planets instead of 9. So in honor of Pluto, which was only a planet for 76 years, I made this fun space SVG file.
